Crussh Fit Food and Juice Bars has opened a new concept café in the flagship Debenhams store on Oxford Street.
The 100-cover ‘fit food’ eatery is serving lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items, along with a deli counter providing dishes like turmeric chicken, vegetable frittatas, fresh salads and a new gluten-free cake range.
The counter will sit alongside signature Crussh products like spelt sourdough toasties, freshly pressed green juices and turmeric lattes.
Plenty of takeaway products are also available for customers not wishing to eat in.
“We are thrilled by the opportunity to create a unique, landmark fit food café on Oxford Street,” says Shane Kavanagh, CEO of Crussh.
“Creating our 100-cover café in this store gives us the opportunity to take our brand into new avenues and extend our core offering outside of food-to-go.”
Director of Trading for Home, Furniture, Gifts and Food, Steve Lightfoot adds, “As part of the Debenhams Redesigned strategy we are looking to further enhance our food offering to customers.
“Through teaming with Crussh we are able to offer a contemporary third party brand which is highly credible with an inviting menu of healthy foods to give the customer further reason for dwell time in our flagship store.”
Highlights from the menu include chia seed and almond overnight oats; toasted sourdough with two free-range offs, spicy black beans and chorizo; spinach and paneer curry with rice; vegan energy supersalad box; chicken protein health pot; seed-crusted mackerel; and a chocolate and beetroot loaf cake.
