One of the most exciting developments that has occurred in the near decade that I have been editing OOH has been the addition of more street food into the mix. Not only does this make for some really interesting interviews – such as finding out how a vegan outlet came to be rated as the best in London by Time Out (page 12) – but it also means, on a more selfish level, getting the chance to sample some truly fabulous foods (page 10).

This increased focus has also led to us also creating a new event – the StrEAT Food Challenge. Open to street food vendors, QSRs and casual dining outlets, the winner takes home not only the glory but also £1,000 in prize money.
