BSA bulletin

Well, trade show season is well and truly upon us and at the Beverage Standards Association (BSA) we are no different. Having said that, though, our BSA pop-up show on 20th June, incorporating the Tea Brewers National Cup heats, is slightly different, in so much as it’s a trade networking event and championship at extremely low cost – just £150 for a three-metre stand space.

The idea is that you come along to the amazing Bury Lodge converted barn (as seen on C4’s TOWIE) near Stanstead Airport, where you will find ample free parking, a bar and food available. You need to be set up by 10am to engage with the event and then set down at 4pm and have social drink after if you want.

We are aiming to have 38 stands, and at time of writing we have 18 booked, with the likes of Fracino, Brew It Group, Brita, BWT, Coffeetek, Instanta and many other fine companies being involved. It’s a no-brainer in this day and age to engage with so many people at such low cost, in terms of time as well as money and. Apply to [email protected] for your space – but hurry they are going fast!

As previously mentioned, we will be hosting the heats of the Tea Brewers National Cup, leading on to the semis at Caffé Culture in October and the finals in March 2020. Entries are welcome for this event, so please apply via [email protected]

Okay, okay, I know new websites are not really news, but I really have to say that the BSA website has now gone live and it’s a stellar piece of work from a young and upcoming design company. Please do take a moment to take a peek, and as we go forward there will be a new blog and forums populated with industry news and chatter to get involved with. It’s all at www.beveragesandardsassociation.co.uk.

Hot on the heels of our trade event in June will be our AGM held a Fracino HQ in Birmingham on 11th July. All are welcome and please let us know if you wish to attend I look forward to seeing you on 20th June as a visitor (which is free!) or an exhibitor. You’re in growing good company with the BSA!
