200 Degrees recently opened a second coffee shop in central Birmingham, offering handcrafted coffee and food to the bustling area surrounding New Street station. The launch of the new 65-seater coffee shop follows the success of its outlet and barista school that opened in the heart of the city’s business district in 2016.
The new shop will bring 20 new jobs to Birmingham citym with its trained barista team serving up freshly roasted coffee from the 200 Degrees roast house in Nottingham, as well as iced tea, smoothies and milkshakes. The shop will also sell deli-style sandwiches, baguettes and a range of salads, soups, cakes and pastries, all prepared daily on the premises and available to eat in or takeaway.
Tom Vincent, co-founder and director of 200 Degrees, said: “The decision to open a second coffee shop here was an easy one for us. Birmingham is only the second location in which we’ve opened a second coffee shop and that’s down to the fantastic support we’ve had from our customers and the wider business community in the city. We’re very excited to contribute further to the fantastic food and drink scene here.”
