Residential property group A2Dominion is seeking proposals from a catering or hospitality business to create and manage a brand-new purpose-built café with up to 50 covers in the Elmsbrook Community at the Bicester eco town. The 134sqm space on Charlotte Avenue, the main road through Elmsbrook, will be ready for occupancy in early 2022. The site is positioned next to a vibrant community hub also due to open in Spring 2022 and adjacent to the Perch Eco Business Centre, which opened in 2019.
Louise Caves, strategic partnership manager for A2Dominion, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity to run a café in the country’s first truly carbon-neutral community. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for being part of a community and understands the importance of sustainability, but also with the commercial acumen to make this a successful venture in its own right.”
A2Dominion says that it wants the café to become the heart of the community and will promote healthy living with a range of handmade, seasonal, locally-sourced food and beverages. However, fitting the kitchen and dining area will be entirely down to the new partner, so there will be ample opportunities for the selected business to stamp its own brand on the space.
