Bad Boy Pizza Society secures first permanent site

A slice shop by day and casual sit-down restaurant by night, Bad Boy Pizzeria will land in Bethnal Green this summer

Bad Boy Pizza Society, two-time winner of the National Pizza Awards (2022 and 2024), has secured the keys to its first permanent site.

To help build the pizzeria, Bad Boy Pizza Society (BBPS) is raising dough via a Kickstarter campaign to support the build and startup costs. It launched on 13 May with rewards including exclusive merch, a year’s supply of pizza and a picture on the pizzeria’s wall of fame.

Dining Bad Boy style

The menu at Bad Boy Pizzeria is heavily inspired by Italian-American cuisine but with a modern twist. New York-style pizza will be the star of the show, alongside small plates and sides. Highlights include Chicken Vodka Parms, Giant Caesar Sharers, Fluffy Sicilian Squares and deep-fried treats such as the Carbonara Suppli and the deep-fried burrata in spicy marinara. Rotational specials and monthly collaborations will also be on offer.

“This is a huge moment for us,” says Sam Clowes, BBPS co-founder. “Having our own space means full creative control and the ability to build a place that feels like home for us and our customers. We’ve spent a lot of time getting everything right - from the pizza dough to the design of the space – and we can’t wait for people to walk in and feel like they’re part of the society.”

The brand already operates in Seven Dials Market, Vinegar Yard and Railway Tavern.
