The Street Food Championships return for 2025

Entries for the 2025 Street Food Championships are now open for chefs across the hospitality sector

Do you have a street food dish that stops people in their tracks? Are you ready to go viral and put your flavours to the ultimate test? Are your signature recipes the talk of the high street? The Street Food Championships are back for 2025, and this is your chance to take the crown!

We’re calling all chefs from across the hospitality industry, including street food vendors, fast-casual innovators, out-of-home operators and restaurant chefs, to enter their boldest, most unforgettable recipes for a shot at winning Street Food Dish of the Year.

This year’s live cook-off, taking place on 18 November 2025, promises to be an unforgettable one-day culinary showdown at the Big Penny Social in London. Sixteen finalists will go head-to-head in a fiery, full-throttle cook-off where skill, speed and creativity collide.

Finalists will face four challenges throughout the day to showcase their street food menus. They'll kick off by recreating the signature recipe that earned them a spot in the final, then dive into a technical test using sponsored ingredients. The Lee Kum Kee Ultimate Umami Challenge will push competitors to create a dish bursting with flavour, before closing with a crowd-pleasing Wings Challenge, sponsored by Givaudan (Major).
