Chocoberry revenue grows by 53% in first half of 2025

Chocoberry aims to have 50 stores by 2026 and expand into international markets

Chocoberry has announced its trading update for the first six months of 2025, with revenue up 53% year-on-year as it accelerates plans to scale up to 50 UK locations by the end of 2026.

Founded in 2018 in the heart of Leicester, Chocoberry has grown to operate 18 unique and ‘Instagrammable’ cafes in the UK and a handful in the UAE, Turkey and Canada.

Reflecting growing demand for high-quality, experiential dessert experiences, Chocoberry has signed new franchise agreements to open eight stores so far this year as part of efforts to significantly scale up its position in the UK.

This builds on new strategic store openings over the last 12 months, including locations in Manchester, Peterborough and Leytonstone, which has helped bring new customers to the brand and transformed it into one of the most ordered via Deliveroo.

By the end of 2026, the brand is targeting at least 50 UK locations and is actively looking for new multi-site franchise partners.

Chocoberry is also exploring opportunities to enter new international markets, including North America, Asia and the GCC, as part of its strategy to scale to 100 global locations by 2028.

Driving growth

Ameer Nurmahomed, UK general manager at Chocoberry said: “Chocoberry is going from strength to strength. When the brand was first launched in 2018, we saw a gap in the market for truly innovative and handcrafted dessert experiences in visually engaging café settings. Now, seven years on, we have built a highly unique and scalable business – supported by our strong brand, wholly-owned bakery operations, and thriving delivery channels – that has a fantastic opportunity to scale to become a household name.

“So far this year, we have signed eight new stores and are in conversations with prospective franchisees across the country. This will take us quickly to nearly 30 UK locations, which will create strong foundations and momentum for us to push on and hit 50 UK sites by the end of 2026 and 100 internationally by 2028. We look forward to realising our exciting growth potential.”
