Market Place announces line up for Leicester Square grand opening

Market Place is set to open London’s newest five storey food hall in Leicester Square.

Market Place Food Hall Leicester Square will unite the capital’s most loved independents including the likes of Bread Ahead, Butchies and Club Mexicana, alongside award-winning vendors and Michelin trained chefs, all within one landmark site in the heart of the West End.

These headline names sit alongside global flavours from Thai curries to Greek gyros and Caribbean spice. From comfort food to fresh and fiery plates, the new Market Place is designed to be a place where every craving is covered.

The confirmed traders include a long list of award winners across categories such as restaurant of the year, best street food and sustainability, with several menus curated by Michelin and classically trained chefs.

The traders

• Bread Ahead: Bringing their viral crème brûlée doughnut and much loved sourdough pizzas to Leicester Square. 
• Butchies: A true cult favourite known for signature buttermilk chicken, legendary sauces, loaded burgers and chicken sandwiches.
• Inamo Sukoshi: Asian inspired fusion street food and sushi. 
• Club Mexicana: Fully vegan Mexican street food with bold flavours and textures. 
• Yorkshire Burritos: Sunday roast meets street food with giant Yorkshire puddings wrapped around roast favourites and finished with proper gravy.
• Cheeky Burger: Gourmet techniques meet messy delicious burgers crafted by a husband and wife team with classical French training. 
• Duck Shed: Self proclaimed Ducking Delicious wraps, burgers and salads built around slow roasted pulled duck.
• Hide and Greek: Festival favourite bringing authentic Greek flavours, souvlaki and gyros straight to the heart of the West End.
• Hot Scotch: Caribbean cuisine bursting with flavour, heat and soul featuring classics like jerk chicken, rice and peas and island inspired specials.
• Molo: Street food elevated with lobster rolls, fish and chips and shellfish dishes that bring Brighton beach energy to central London.
• Mister Lasagna: More than 20 lasagna varieties including meat, vegan and veggie options and approved by Spice Girls icon Emma Bunton.
• Soft Serve Society: Swirly soft serve with bold flavour combos, signature black vanilla and indulgent cookie loaded toppings.
• Thai House: Fresh authentic Thai plates cooked with love including fragrant curries, wok fried noodles and aromatic stir fries.
• Crumble Mania: Customisable vegan friendly crumbles with gluten free options made from a three generation family recipe.
• Strip Steak: Ex-Gordan Ramsay chef cooking steaks and sides fast, and to perfection.

Opening its doors on Thursday 11 December, Market Place Food Hall Leicester Square promises a flavour-filled experience: a place to eat, drink, and be entertained.
