STREET FOOD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Street Food Championships took place in London on 26 November 2024. The annual cookery competition, which is joint organised with our sister publication Dine Out, was held at the Big Penny Social, followed by a huge party and awards ceremony.

To enter the British Street Food Championship, entrants have to submit a recipe for their signature dish which they have to prepare on the day of the awards with their own ingredients. Our judges select the best and most creative street food dishes from the multitude of online submissions. 

The foodie face-off saw 13 street food chefs battle it out to win the coveted Street Food Dish of the Year award. Not only that but they will also battle it out in the Technical round, using sponsors’ products, and the Wings round, which is sponsored by Major.
