Leon recently launched a new menu, celebrating British summertime and the power of plants, especially seasonal produce, across all of its UK restaurants. The new menu is true to the healthy chain’s roots and features big and bold flavours, including hero dishes such as the low-carb Paleo Plant Box. This comes as chargrilled British seasonal veg topped with either roasted aubergine and sumac-pickled onions for a vegan lunch under 300 calories, or paprika chicken with garlic aioli for a high-protein dish under 400 calories.
The power of plants shines through the whole menu. For breakfast, Leon is launching its first ever vegan grilled mushroom and cheeze muffin. Layered with freshly grilled mushrooms, Leon’s in-house vegan cheeze sauce, rocket and ketchup in a toasted sourdough English muffin.
Erica Molyneaux, head of food for Leon, said: “This new menu launch is a celebration of the power of plants and British seasonal produce, with some very exciting new dishes that pack a punch when it comes to flavour. Now more than ever is important to continue to support British farmers and producers and offer food that tastes good, does good and is kind to the planet.”
