Donut Worry Be Happy launches #SMILEFORDONUTS
Donut Worry Be Happy (DWBH) recently announce its first global campaign to boost morale across foodservice. #SMILEFORDONUTS is a social media-driven campaign that encourages customers to take a bite out of their doughnut, snap a selfie and upload it to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook on International Donut Day (4th June). If they tag @DWBH_UK, DWBH will donate a doughnut, or the value of a doughnut, to Hospitality Action.
Over 230 catering outlets and convenience stores nationwide have signed up to date to take part in the campaign. The goal is to get 100,000 doughnuts smiles shared globally.
Rebecca Dunning, trade marketing manager UK&I for La Lorraine Bakery Group, the owner of DWBH, said: “This is a first for Donut Worry Be Happy and it is a pleasure to be able to raise funds for a charity that is offering a crucial lifeline for hospitality workers who have been made redundant as a result of the pandemic. To do so with Donut Worry Be Happy doughnuts is just a fun activity that everyone can take part in!”
