21st Apr
National Tea Day
Nationwide

The Tea Group established National Tea Day on 21st April 2015 in order to raise awareness, as it felt that the drink’s integral place in British culture was starting to wane. This celebration also falls on the Queen’s official birthday, which is on the same date.

Celebrating all things tea in the UK, National Tea Day has now became the top trending hashtag on the day itself, accruing billions of media impressions. Each year, the nation shares its love of tea through exciting events, fun, informative online content and, of course, the quintessentially British afternoon tea.
