New marketing officer for Patisserie Valerie

Patisserie Valerie, and its sister coffee and baking brand Bakers and Baristas, have appointed Martin Burke as group chief marketing officer. He will oversee the marketing for the former’s 29 stores and the latter’s 64 sites across the UK and Ireland, as well as Patisserie Valerie’s eCommerce platform. 

Burke joins with over 15 years of global marketing experience across hospitality and foodservice. This includes 10 years at Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate, where he held the position of marketing and e-commerce director. Prior to that, he was head of innovation marketing for its best-selling tea brand, Yorkshire Tea.

James Fleming, group chief executive officer of Patisserie Valerie and Bakers and Baristas, said: “We are delighted to have Martin on board.
