New interim CMO for KFC
KFC UK and Ireland has announced that chief corporate affairs and sustainability officer Jenny Packwood will be its new interim chief marketing officer (CMO). She will take on the role in addition to her current duties while the business looks for a permanent replacement for the outgoing Jack Hinchliffe.
Hinchliffe has moved within Yum! to global become CMO for The Habit Burger Grill. Packwood, meanwhile, has been in the business for over 14 years.
She said: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into the role as we all continue to push the business forward and further embed KFC into British and Irish culture. I truly love this brand, so it’s a complete honour to be given the opportunity to steward it for this period.”
Meghan Farren, managing director of KFC UK and Ireland, added: “Jenny was a natural choice for our interim CMO. She’s an intuitive, natural brand builder with a tremendous ability to inspire, build teams and develop people. She is an all-round courageous business leader.”
