International Coffee Day

International Coffee Day is an occasion that is used to promote and celebrate coffee as a beverage, with events occurring in places around the world. The first official date was 1st October 2015, as agreed by then International Coffee Organization, and was launched in Milan. It is also used to promote fairtrade coffee and to raise awareness for the plight of the growers. 

On this day, many businesses offer free or discounted cups of coffee. Some businesses share coupons and special deals with their loyal followers via social networking. Some greeting card companies even sell National Coffee Day cards, as well as free e-cards.

The Restaurant Show

The Restaurant Show showcases the best products, services and innovations in the market. Exhibitors at the event cover the whole of the hospitality spectrum, from food and drink through to ingredients, technology and furniture.

Noy only this, but there will be two new zones this year. Chefs’ Ingredients will be dedicated to showcasing, educating and inspiring chefs with the latest ingredients and techniques embracing the industry. Bar and Drinks, meanwhile, will provide a holistic view of beverages in hospitality. The Catering Equipment Expo will also run alongside, helping to champion the outstanding products, people, insights and innovations in the food and drink industry.
