The awards celebrate the east and south east Asian hospitality in the UK

Lee Kum Kee Europe sponsored the recent Golden Chopsticks Awards, which were held the Royal Lancaster London Hotel.

Now in their fifth year, the awards celebrate the individuals that make up the best of the East and South East Asian hospitality industry in the UK.

More than 600 guests gathered to support of the winners who work across restaurants, takeaways, cafés and street food. Supported by a plethora of dedicated sponsors, the winners were chosen by a panel of esteemed judges, as well as via votes from the public.

Among the 19 awards presented on the night, the winner of the Golden Chopsticks Food Influencer Award went to TV star and Glasgow chef Julie Lin. Andrew Yeo, the global executive chef at Hakkasan, received the Golden Chef Award.

We love to see the pride among the winners, and it brings so much joy to feel the enthusiasm in the room.”
