Entries for National Pizza Awards 2024 now open

The competition invites recipe submissions from chefs across the hospitality sector

The National Pizza Awards are back for another year, inviting chefs from the restaurant and street food sectors to submit their signature recipes in a bid to claim the coveted National Pizza of the Year title.

The awards, headline sponsored by Birrificio Angelo Poretti, will provide a platform for the UK’s ultimate pizza professionals, with finalists facing off in a live cooking showdown in front of a hand-picked panel of industry judges.

On top of the signature round, competitors will take part in a technical challenge that will see them construct the best dish from a selection of sponsor ingredients, with the winner being named National Pizza Chef of the Year. A dedicated plant-based round will also decide the Plant-Based Pizza of the Year.

A celebration of all things pizza

“We can’t wait to welcome this year’s line-up of potential pizza champions,” says Genna Ash-Brown, editor of Dine Out Magazine, which organises the event.

Entries close Friday 13 September, with the final taking place on Tuesday 12 November.
