Chopstix opens fourth Essex site
Basildon marks the company’s fifth opening of 2024 – bringing the number of UK Chopstix Group sites to over 150
The fast growing QSR brand, Chopstix, has continued its impressive expansion, opening its latest site in the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Basildon this week.
The new 52-seat site is Chopstix’s fourth location in Essex, following successful sites in Lakeside, Romford and Ilford.
With more than 150 Chopstix Group sites across the UK, the business boasts a strong pipeline of new sites, through both company operated and franchise ownership models. Basildon marks the company’s fifth equity opening of 2024, in addition to a number of sites opened with new and existing franchise partners, including Haven and Welcome Break.
Jon Lake, managing director, Chopstix, said: “We’ve been keen to grow our presence in Essex for some time, so we’re delighted to open in Basildon, and Eastgate was the perfect location as the brand continues to show up well in shopping centres.”
