Ibersol Travel España, the travel restaurant division of the Ibersol Group, has announced the opening of two new Pret A Manger’s at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport

Ibersol takes another step forward in its partnership with chain Pret A Manger, with two new shops opening in Madrid Airport.

It marks yet another step forward in Pret and Ibersol’s growth trajectory in Spain.

Pret has already opened four shops in Spain, including in the airports of Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat (2), César Manrique de Lanzarote and Tenerife Sur-Reina Sofía.

Pret A Manger has landed in Madrid with two new shops located in the Air Zone of Terminal 4. One located in the North Dock, with a surface area of 226 m² and capacity for more than 90 people, and another in the South Dock, with capacity to accommodate more than 50 visitors. A third store is set to open in terminal 1 in October.

"We continue to make progress in our expansion plan for Pret A Manger in the Iberian Peninsula, with our fifth opening in Spain. On this occasion we have reached a very important milestone with the brand's arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, one of the most important and busiest airports in the world.

"It will undoubtedly allow us to increase the visibility and recognition of the brand among the thousands of people who pass through the airport every day, and we are convinced that Pret A Manger will become a meeting point at the Madrid airport’, says Dr. Alberto Teixeira, president of the Ibersol Group.

Pret A Manger currently has more than 660 shops in eighteen markets, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Hong Kong, France, Dubai, Kuwait, India, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Singapore, Germany, Canada, Italy, Spain, Qatar and Greece.
