Crunch Sandwich Shop to Open in Soho

Crunch is set to launch its first permanent sandwich shop on Dean Street, Soho

Cult Sandwich concept, Crunch, is to open its first permanent bricks and mortar site, on Dean Street, this February.

Having gained a cult following at its original Hackney pub pop-up in 2022, before taking Old Spitalfields Market by storm – currently selling upwards of 15,000 sandwiches a month – Crunch will now have a permanent home for its deluxe sandwiches on the high streets of Soho.

At the heart of all Crunch sandwiches is its artisanal bread, which is freshly backed each morning – the special brioche-inspired bread is crisp and buttery, yet not overly sweet, and holds firm against sauces and fillings.

Crunch will serve a small rotating menu of bold, hearty sandwiches alongside a few OG staples, a selection of sides (including its famous thousand-layer potatoes) and a signature desert. Every sandwich is crafted with love and care, showcasing the best ingredients and creative combinations.

With its first permanent sandwich shop, Crunch will also be able to serve drinks for the first time and will be offering cocktails and beers to go alongside their meal-size sandwiches.

The site, which is on the corner of Dean Street and Old Compton Street, is in the heart of Soho and will offer both takeaway and eat in, with room to seat around 16. The interiors has been designed by KIDZ Studio, a smart contemporary space with a large open kitchen, sleek natural wood counter, polished stainless steel surfaces, white tiles, and modern pendant lighting.
