Yard Sale launches pub-inspired pizza

Yard Sale Pizza, which was recently voted London’s favourite pizza purveyor by Time Out readers, recently launched its latest special. Its new pizza and a beer combo was conceived in collaboration with Gipsy Hill Brewery.

The brand-new creation pays tribute to the iconic pub flavour cheese and onion. The Two Pints of Lager and a Packet Of… pizza is topped with Lincolnshire Poacher, courtesy of The Cheese Bar, onions braised in Gipsy Hill’s beer and Yard Sale Pizza’s very own slowcooked tomato sauce and fior di latte mozzarella. It is then finished with the customer’s choice of powdered pub snack – pickled onion Monster Munch, Scampi Fries or pork scratchings – to sprinkle onto your pizza when it arrives.

To pair with it, Yard Sale has worked with South London brewery Gipsy Hill to brew their first collaboration beer – Sliceworld.

Nick Buckland, co-founder and director of Yard Sale Pizza, said: “It’s been a pleasure to build relationships with pubs near our shops to bring our pizza to even more people in our local neighbourhoods. This new special pays tribute to those pubs with something a little bit different and is the perfect partner to our new Gipsy Hill collaboration.”
