Five Guys celebrates 10 years in the UK

Five Guys recently released the second collection of its merch line to coincide with its 10-year UK anniversary. While the first run, Arlington 1986, focused on Americana style, the new ‘checkerboard’ collection is about championing the iconic, instantly recognisable red-and-white checkerboard tiles that are found in all of its restaurants.

The drop – which includes a reversible bucket hat, sliders and a summer co-ord set, as well as a new hoodie design and t-shirts – was modelled by restaurant staff. In a nod to the fact that Five Guys looks to source the freshest, highest quality produce, often working with British farmers to supply restaurants across the UK, the photoshoot took place at a farm in Nottinghamshire, which is one of the brand’s trusted potato suppliers.

Paul Hamilton, brand and customer director for Five Guys, said: “After the successful launch of our first merch drop, we wanted to allow Five Guys fans to continue incorporating their love for the brand into their everyday outfits. In the same way we are committed to using only the freshest ingredients in our kitchen, we approached the design and production of the second collection with the ambition to create high-quality, fashionable pieces.”
