eggslut opens biggest UK outlet

eggslut recently opened its fifth UK site, at East Village in Stratford, London, its largest outlet in the UK to-date. It offers all-day dining options and an outdoor terrace, comfortably seating up to 90 customers.

To coincide with the launch, executive chef Bruno Pires has also developed a new evening menu. Designed to position eggslut as a premium all-day dining option in East Village, the first new sandwich to be revealed is The Romesco. The recipe consists of slow-cooked crispy pork belly, free-range over medium egg, Romesco sauce and rocket, all within a warm brioche bun (costing £11.95). The opening hours at Stratford are extended until 10pm accordingly.

Pires said: “We are so excited to bring another store to our customers. Longer opening hours, new menu items, big terrace for the warmer days.

“We had so many followers asking to open in East London and we can’t wait!”

The new outlet joins the egg specialist’s Portobello Road, Fitzrovia, Shoreditch and Victoria Market Halls destinations. It is also for delivery on Deliveroo and UberEat.
