SushiDog secures new site
SushiDog is set to open new site near London Bridge following funding boost
A quick service sushi roll restaurant is set to open near Borough Market in March.
SushiDog secured a further round of funding from investor Middleton Enterprises last month and is set to open a new site next month near London Bridge. The business is set to open its seventh site in a railway arch opposite Borough Market.
As a part of the five-year growth plan, SushiDog is hoping to open four new sites in the capital city. The recent £800,000 investment from Middleton will finance the opening of these four new sites, building on the previous round of funding for £612,000 from the investment firm in April 2023. The original funding round resulted in the opening of SushiDog units on Baker Street and The Strand in September and October 2023 respectively.
Founded in 2018 by Greg Ilsen and Nick Goldstein, the business also operates sites in Covent Garden’s Tower Street, Westfield White City, Soho and Bishopsgate. It's growth target is set to open 30 sites over five years.
