Eggbreak set to open pop-up in Shoreditch

Eggbreak at The Hoxton in Shoreditch is launching 29 July

One of London's famous brunch spots is heading east this month. As Eggbreak launches its summer pop-up at The Hoxton, Shoreditch

The Notting Hill café, which is famous for its epic egg dishes and lengthy queues, will begin a six-month residency at the Hoxton Grill on 29th July.

Open every day from 7am – 4pm, the residency will be a chance for east Londoners to try Eggbreak’s signature dishes without the journey west. And, unlike the original which is walk-in only, the pop-up will take reservations meaning no more waiting in line for your brunch fix.

A cracking menu

The menu will feature all the Eggbreak signatures as well as one or two specials. Egg dishes of course feature prominently, including the Eggybreak Melt; the EBC Toasty; Hot Honey French Toast and Turkish Eggs.

Exclusive to the Hoxton pop-up will be a brand new Eggbreak burger, topped with bacon and a fried egg. Other more substantial lunch dishes include the fried chicken sandwich with scotch bonnet jam; Caesar salad; and BBQ pulled lamb on white rice with crispy shallots, poached egg and peanut rayu.

To drink, there’ll be new Summer Slushies including a Tahini Frozen Coffee. The slushie, created in collaboration with Origins, is made from cold brew coffee, roast tahini, date syrup, and oat milk.

There’s also the Strawberry Coconut Matcha Slushie – frozen Rare Tea Co matcha, fresh strawberry, coconut, freeze-dried strawberry – the perfect summer pick-me-up.
