Rent-free spot at Mercato Metropolitano up for grabs
The 2024 Street Food Championships has announced a new partnership with community market operator Mercato Metropolitano
As part of the collaboration, street food businesses who enter the competition are now in with a chance of winning a one-month rent-free tenure at Mercato Metropolitano Elephant & Castle in London.
What’s more, the chef that cooks the Street Food Dish of the Year at the live final in November will also benefit from the Mercato Metropolitano Incubation Programme during the month of trading.

How to enter the Street Food Championships
The Street Food Championships invites chefs from across the street food, fast-casual and restaurant sectors to submit signature recipes online in a chance to make the final on 26 November.
The Championships, sponsored by Major, Lee Kum Kee and Conglom, is a one-day extravaganza where 16 finalists cook their dishes for an expert judging panel at a live-cooking showdown in London.
Entries for the Street Food Championships close Friday 13 September, with the final taking place on Tuesday 26 November at the Big Penny Social.
