The Street Food Championships invites chefs from across the street food, fast-casual and restaurant sectors to submit signature recipes online in a chance to make the final on 26 November. Entries close on Friday 20 September.

Last year's winner, Dan Alridge from Eat the Bird has provided some advice for this years competitiors: "Don’t overcomplicate it. Do what’s in your heart and what you’ve done a million times before. I think it can be too easy to try and reinvent something or go over the top or whatever, but I think simplicity is best."

And when reflecting on his Street Food Championship success, he said: "The award-winning burger has gone on to sell out. The first month after we won, every single ticket that came into the kitchen had the burger listed on it. It's now one of our top three best sellers."
