Hotbox opens in Boxpark Croydon

Boxpark recently welcomed a brand-new barbeque outlet to its Croydon market. HotBox has opened its first restaurant since the business was sold in March 2022 to financier Adhum Carter. 

It serves up delectably seasoned smoked meats using a combination of kiln-dried Hickory and Oak in its one-tonne rotisserie smokers. Foodies can find a range of mouth-watering dishes on the menu, including the HotBox Bandit Burger with brisket, chimichurri, chipotle aioli and aged beef patties. Other delicious dishes include the succulent, fall off-the-bone beef short ribs and sticky pork ribs.

The business started as a nomadic trader in the vibrant street food scene of east London. Residencies followed at Street Feast's Dalston Yard, Battersea Park, Dinerama, Hawker House and Lewisham's Model Market. This latest venture is the brand’s first sit-down restaurant, where it will host events such as bottomless brunches, DJs and more.
